The Holy Rock - Hostel At Meteora - Kalambaka

I stayed at The Holy Rock for 5 nights and didn't want to leave. The hostel is clean with a friendly atmosphere. The staff, especially Kostas, was helpful and gave great advice about exploring Meteora. The location is perfect, close to hiking trails, dining options, and transportation. The full kitchen was well-equipped and made it easy to cook meals. a highly recommended hostel for anyone visiting Meteora.

Continuous improvements, including individual lights and curtains in the dormitory rooms. Guests can cook in the well-equipped kitchen with complimentary oil and condiments. Value for money and great attentive owners.

Nothing not to love.

The facilities were top-notch, with new and clean showers and bathrooms that had excellent hot water. the kitchen was spacious and fully equipped, making it easy to cook my own meals. the living room area was a great place to socialize with other guests. the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the fan in the room helped keep me cool. the location was perfect, with both the train and bus stations within a 10-15 minute walk, and shops, restaurants, and other amenities just minutes away. the surrounding area was beautiful, with stunning views of the mountains.

The kitchen could get a bit chaotic with the available equipment, so it would have been nice to have better organization.

We loved that the hostel provided free oil and condiments to use, and the fully equipped kitchen was a bonus for cooking our own meals. a great place to stay!

Comfy rooms and beds, good location, super owner

I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel! The rooms were so comfortable, with spacious beds that provided a great night's sleep. The hostel's location was perfect - just a few steps away from the city center and a short drive to the stunning Meteora. The owner, Kostas, was amazing, always going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed.

That there was no hot water when I went to take a shower at 9pm. It was a bit disappointing, but overall it didn't ruin my experience.

The hostel is conveniently located near the train station and bus stop to Meteora, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to stay until our train departure time. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of air conditioning.
